Manufacturing process
1. Among them, the galvanizing process has two ways of hot dip galvanizing and cold galvanizing, and hot dip galvanizing is a commonly used one.
2. Steel pipe manufacturing method: Steel pipe can be manufactured by any of the processes of straight seam high-frequency electric welding, straight seam submerged arc welding or spiral seam submerged arc welding.
3. Seamless steel pipe manufacturing method: Steel pipe should be made by hot rolling (expanding) or cold drawing (rolling) seamless method.

Material requirement
1. Pipeline material: Fire pipes should be made of pressure-resistant, corrosion-resistant, fire-resistant, anti-condensation steel pipes or seamless steel pipes. The wall thickness and diameter of the steel pipe should meet the relevant standard requirements, and the surface should be smooth and flat, without cracks, wrinkles and other defects.
2. Valve material: the valves on the fire pipeline should be pressure resistant, corrosion resistant, fire resistant, anti-condensation valves, such as ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, etc. The quality of the valve should meet the relevant standards, the opening and closing should be flexible, and the sealing performance is good.
3. Connection material: the connection of the fire pipe should be made of pressure and corrosion resistant castings or forgings, such as socket welding pipe fittings, threaded pipe fittings, etc. The material of the connector should meet the requirements of the relevant standards, and the surface should be smooth and flat, without cracks, pores and other defects.
4. Sealing materials: the sealing parts of the fire pipeline should be made of pressure-resistant, corrosion-resistant rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene materials.
What are the specific requirements of the national standard for fire steel pipes?
1. Materials and manufacturing process: The materials used in the fire galvanized steel pipe should meet the relevant national standards, and the manufacturing process should meet the requirements of engineering and technical standards.
2. Appearance quality: including surface finish, uniformity of galvanized layer, deformation of pipe body, etc.
3. Size and quality: the parameters of the outer diameter, wall thickness, length and quality of the galvanized steel pipe are specified.
4. Test methods and inspection rules: specific operating methods and standard requirements for quality inspection of galvanized steel pipes for fire protection.
5. Pipeline design requirements: the minimum top soil cover of the pipeline should not be less than 0.70m; The minimum pipe top covering soil should be determined by calculation and should not be less than 0.90m. The minimum pipe top cover should be at least 0.30m below the freeze line.
6. Buried pipeline requirements: Buried pipeline using wire mesh skeleton plastic composite pipe should meet the relevant regulations, including polyethylene (PE) raw materials should not be lower than PE80; The inner circumferential stress should not be lower than 8.0MPa; The composite layer should meet the requirements of static pressure stability and peel strength.
7. Overhead pipe requirements: When the system working pressure is less than or equal to 1.20MPa, hot-dip galvanized steel pipe can be used; When the working pressure of the system is greater than 1.20MPa, hot-dip galvanized steel pipe or hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe should be used. When the working pressure of the system is greater than 1.60MPa, hot-dip galvanized seamless steel pipe should be used.
8. Connection mode: The connection of the overhead pipeline should be made by groove connecting parts (clamps), threads, flanges, clamping, etc., and should not be welded.
9. Fire pipe specifications and wall thickness: When nominal diameter DN≤1.0MPa, galvanized welded steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transportation is used, and the wall thickness standards are as follows:
- DN65, wall thickness S=4.0mm
- DN80, wall thickness S=4.0mm
- DN100, wall thickness S=4.0mm
- DN125, wall thickness S=4.0mm
- DN150, wall thickness S=4.5mm
When DN > 150, seamless steel pipe (GB/T8163 (⑵008) for fluid transport should be used, and its wall thickness standard is as follows:
- DN200, wall thickness S=7.0mm
- DN300, wall thickness S=8.0mm.
