1.TOLERANCE

1.1 On Thickness:The minimum wall thickness at any point shall be not more than 12.5% under the specified wall thickness.

   1.2 On Diameter:

For NPS 11/2" and under any point shall not vary more than +0.4 mm -0.8 mm.

For NPS 2" and above shall not vary more than +/- 1% from the standard specified

  1.3. On Weight

The weight of the pipe shall not more than ±5% of the specified weight.

2.ENDS

Each end of pipe shall be furnish plain end unless otherwise specified.

3.INTERNAL DEBEADING

2" and above -Internal beads to be removed completely.

6.FLATTENING TEST

Weld located 0 and 90 degree from line of direction of force.

Stage-1: For weld ductility until 2/3 of outside diameter of specimen tube.

Stage-2: For ductility of steel until 1/3 of outside diameter of specimen tube.

Stage-3: Full flattening for testing of laminated and unsound material.

7.LEAK TIGHTNESS TEST

   7.1On line NDT(Eddy Current)

7.2Hydro testing at pressure as per above table and holding time Min. 5 Second.

8. BLACK VARNISH

Tubes are uniformly varnished externally over their full length.

9.COATING

   9.1ZINC COATING

The Average 460 gm/m2 but one side should not be less than 400 gm/m2 or Specified by customer

Free from bare Spot,Black spot, rough, over coating, Peel off or any other surface defect.

ASTM A795 specifies strict material specifications to ensure that the pipe meets the necessary strength and corrosion resistance criteria.

Hot dip galvanising further enhances the durability of the pipe, allowing it to withstand the challenging conditions often encountered in industrial            and fire fighting environments.

   9.2 FBE COATING

FBE coating pipe is Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating steel pipe. It could be applied for external or internal coating, with heat resin for pipe.

With coated a form of dry powder at thickness 400-600 microns on to the heated surface of pipe. Once the FBE coated on the pipe surface, the           FBE film provides an extremely hard surface with great adhesion to the pipe surface. The FBE layer in a even form and have good resistance to           the chemical reaction.
